Hi. I'm Brad - the founder of Bunya Bookkeeping.
I'm a CPA with over 10 years of experience, with a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Brigham Young University–Hawaii and a Master of Accountancy from Gonzaga University. I started in public accounting as an auditor and later worked as a Corporate Controller. That experience gave me a full picture of how businesses operate — not just what the numbers are, but what they mean and how to use them.
I’ve worked with companies across a wide range of industries, from startups to large corporations, and everything from straightforward books to highly complex environments. I’m familiar with systems like QuickBooks and other ERPs, which means I can step in, get up to speed quickly, and keep things moving without slowing you down.
Just as important, I focus on being easy to work with — clear communication, quick responses, and no unnecessary complexity. The goal is simple: give you clean, reliable books and the clarity you need to make better decisions.
Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad to a young family. I was born in Australia, and when I’m not working you’ll usually find me around a barbecue, watching or playing sports, traveling, or near the ocean whenever I can.

📍 Bunya Mountains, Australia — where it all started
Bunya Bookkeeping is named after the Bunya Mountains in Australia, where I grew up. The Bunya tree is known for being strong, long-lasting, and dependable — values that shape the way I work with every client. It’s about building a solid foundation that you can rely on, year after year.
I started this business to use my experience as a resource for other business owners. Growing up in a single-parent household, I watched my mom run a small business and helped out from a young age. I saw firsthand how much of a difference good bookkeeping can make — and how quickly things can fall apart when the numbers aren’t clear.
Too often, I’ve seen businesses dealing with inaccurate books, poor communication, or systems that just don’t make sense. That’s what I set out to fix.
My goal is to give you clean, reliable numbers, clear communication, and one less thing to worry about — so you can focus on growing your business and making better decisions with confidence.
